The greatest show on earth, the FIFA World Cup 2022 is knocking at the door. It is going to start from November 21 with the gour rounds, while the screens of the finals will be revealed on December 18.

World Cup 2022 Format:

 

  • The World Cup tournament in 2022 will be structured in the same way as previous editions, with a 32-team group stage
  • It will reduce to 16 teams only the top two teams from each group will advance.
  • The 16 remaining survivors will compete in a single-game knockout competition.
  • The winner advances to the next round, while the loser is sent home.
  • Every match must have a winner on the day of the match, and extra time and penalty kicks will be used to determine the winner of the knockouts.
